June Family Fun with Dad

This June is a special time to connect and have fun with family, friends and new people. Learn more about this light and creative energy that is with us now and check out this Holistic family event just outside of North Manotick: ‘Organic Dynamic Family Farm Stand’.

Yes, we have passed through all the eclipses of May, that brought extra challenges, for example, letting go of old belief systems that haven’t served us well.  And Kara Samuels, Astrologer, shares that June is the month to connect with your passions – to create and explore new things. We are in Gemini which is the sun sign that is about using the voice, networking and connecting. Mercury has gone back direct, thank goodness, and is the ruler of Gemini so you can see this month is about communication and learning. And Venus is in her own sign this month and wants us to enjoy life.

And even better June is a 3 universal month for fun, creativity and expression – to speak your truth from your heart.

It is the month to connect with ‘Mother Nature’, to take time to have fun and be creative with family and friends. Heart Sounds Yoga is connecting with Manotick (5792 Rideau Valley Drive), a beautiful, green community just on the outskirts of Ottawa. And, with this month being a celebration of  “Father’s Day”, we are sharing some events for families and adults.

Join us at the grand opening of the “Organic Dynamic Family Farm Stand” on Saturday, June 25^th from 9-5 PM.  It is a sacred space where community, children and conscious living become one. Parish and Nicolle will be offering a variety of local Organic produce, raw honey, maple syrup, fresh bread, baked goods, cold-compressed juices, kombucha and conscious crafts.

The event will include an opening ceremony, yoga classes, children’s activities at the Rainbow Kid’s Zone and a Rainbow Breath break with Heart Sounds Yoga. And, this beautiful space will be transformed into an outdoor yoga studio for the whole summer!

And here is a sneak preview of a special July event – Conscious Children’s Festival, July 16,17^th) with a variety of child-related booths, workshops and programs. I am looking forward to doing a “Family Yoga” class on Saturday July 16^th from 10:30-1:30 PM and you can find me at the Rainbow Kid’s Zone, with fun activities for kids.

And, starting Tuesday, July 12^th, I will be offering weekly drop-in yoga classes – Zen Yoga 55+ from 10:30-11:30 AM.
