About Your Teacher – Anamda
As a life-long promoter and seeker of “healthy living and wellness” for personal freedom, Anamda has been teaching yoga to children, teens and families after meeting her spiritual teacher, Berdhanya Swami Tierra in Ottawa in 2001. “Heart Sounds Yoga” has emerged after experiencing the beauty, love and joy of children’s hearts. Anamda brings a natural innocence, creativity and wholeness to her teachings for children and adults with “Club Yoga”, founded by Berdhanya Swami Tierra in 2001 and with the “The Berdhanya Swami Tierra Council of the Child and Family” from 2016 – 2018.
Her classes have inspired pre-school and school age children, including exceptional children and teens. She has over twelve years of experience as a certified trainer and teacher with “Club Yoga”,Founded by Berdhanya Swami Tierra, that has opened the space for many children and new teachers to discover and spread the benefits of yoga. Through Berdhanya’s teachings, Anamda holds two certificates in children’s teacher training (children; teen yoga) as well as extensive yoga and meditation training.
