Do you want to enjoy life more and feel more relaxed, calm and energized? Heart Sounds Yoga, a combination of gentle “hatha yoga” combining asanas with “nada yoga” (sound yoga) gives increased flexibility, mobility, coordination and strength to all the muscles and joints of the body as well as enhancing the functioning of all the systems of your body. The healing sounds and vibrations of nada yoga augment the benefits of hatha yoga and energize the  body and relax the mind.

The breath is key to increasing your prana that gives all the cells of your body more fuel to do
their job. Proper breathing techniques with yoga will allow you to manage any challenge in your life with centeredness, equanimity and joy. Yoga protects against heart attacks, increases good bone health, decrease back and joint pain, improves proper body alignment, increases memory and slows down the aging process. All you need for this relaxing yet energizing 1-hour class is your smile and friendliness to you. And yes, bring along your yoga mat, water bottle and wear loose comfortable clothing.

Want to relax and to be more in touch with your body and your breath? This gentle yet energizing hatha yoga class is a combination of yoga poses (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayamas) and meditation that will bring balance to the whole body – increased flexibility, coordination, strength and a clear, calm and focused mind. Bring you smile and enthusiasm to experience the natural wisdom of your body.

About Your Teacher – Anamda

As a life-long promoter and seeker of “healthy living and wellness” for personal freedom, Anamda has been teaching yoga to children, teens and families after meeting her spiritual teacher, Berdhanya Swami Tierra in Ottawa in 2001.  “Heart Sounds Yoga” has emerged after experiencing the beauty, love and joy of children’s hearts. Anamda brings a natural innocence, creativity and wholeness to her teachings for children and adults with “Club Yoga”, founded by Berdhanya Swami Tierra in 2001 and with the “The Berdhanya Swami Tierra Council of the Child and Family” from 2016 – 2018.

Her classes have inspired pre-school and school age children, including exceptional children and teens. She has over twelve years of experience as a certified trainer and teacher with “Club Yoga”,Founded by Berdhanya Swami Tierra, that has opened the space for many children and new teachers to discover and spread the benefits of yoga. Through Berdhanya’s teachings, Anamda holds two certificates in children’s teacher training (children; teen yoga) as well as extensive yoga and meditation training.
